How attendance is verified #
- You attend the event.
- After the event has started, a PKOUG events administrator reviews the registrations and verifies who attended, recording how it was verified.
- The award is applied once, together with the verification, and you are notified.
Requirements #
- The registration must be linked to your PKOUG member account. Register while signed in, keeping your account email address — see Registering for an event.
- Attendance cannot be verified before the event starts.
A registration that is not linked cannot receive credit. If you registered while signed out, email info@pkoug.org with the event name; an events administrator can link the registration after checking it is yours. Verified speaking is recorded against your member account separately — see Speaking at PKOUG events.
Credit #
Verified attendance earns +10 contribution points once per registration. If a verification is reversed, the evidence is cleared and the award is reversed in your activity ledger.
Registering alone never earns credit.
