How roles are assigned #
- PKOUG administrators invite members to be a Volunteer or a Chapter Leader.
- Events administrators may invite volunteers; appointing a leader is reserved for senior administrators.
- To offer your help, contact info@pkoug.org or a leader of your chapter.
Respond to an invitation #
Open My PKOUG → My Chapter (/member/chapter.php).
- Accept and publish my profile — you take the role and appear on the chapter page.
- Decline — nothing is published.
Step down #
Under Roles you hold, select Step down. You can do this even if your membership has lapsed.
What is published #
What appears publicly comes from your member profile. See What is published about a chapter or SIG leader. If your membership lapses, you stop being listed publicly.
