Domains #
Oracle Database, Oracle E-Business Suite, OCI, Oracle APEX, Oracle Linux, Oracle GoldenGate, Data Guard, Performance Tuning, Oracle Analytics, Fusion Applications, Java, AI / Oracle AI Database, and Career & Certification.
A topic belongs to a domain through its forum category or product and, for some domains (such as Performance Tuning), its tags. GoldenGate and Data Guard sit under Database, so answers there also count toward Oracle Database.
Tiers #
| Tier | Eligible answers | Accepted solutions | Quality signals |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contributor | 3 | 0 | 1 |
| Specialist | 10 | 2 | 5 |
| Expert | 25 | 8 | 20 |
- Eligible answers are answers that are not removed, on published topics in the domain, and not on your own question.
- A quality signal is an accepted solution or a helpful vote received on an eligible answer.
How they are awarded #
Badges are awarded and reconciled automatically when your answers, votes or acceptances change, so a badge can be withdrawn if the evidence no longer stands. An administrator may also award a tier manually for equivalent reviewed off-platform evidence; a manual award is not withdrawn by later forum changes.
Profiles show one expertise badge per domain, at the highest tier you hold.
