Following needs a signed-in member account.
What you can follow #

On Following, each item is a button. Follow {name} starts following; Following {name} is selected and stops following when pressed again.
What following does #
- Feed: followed items rank higher in your feed.
- Forum topics: you are notified about new activity on a followed topic.
- Broadcasts: notifications such as a newly published Knowledge resource in a followed area need both the follow and a saved, enabled preference for that event in Notification preferences. They are off until you choose them.
