What is the Knowledge Hub?

The Knowledge Hub is PKOUG's library of reviewed Oracle resources — articles, guides, scripts, labs, presentations, recordings and community solutions.

Open /knowledge, or Resources → Knowledge Hub in the main navigation.

What it contains #

Resources contributed by PKOUG members and reviewed before publication. Content types include Article, Technical Guide, Tutorial, How-To, Script, Code Sample, Presentation, Webinar Recording, Event Recording, Lab, Whitepaper, Case Study, Community Solution, Documentation, Checklist and Reference. Each can carry a difficulty (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or All levels), an Oracle technology and product, tags, and links to a SIG, chapter or event.

Community Solutions are accepted solutions from the forum that the PKOUG team nominated and curated into the library.

Who can use it #

  • Anyone can browse and read published public resources and download their files.
  • Signed-in members can bookmark, follow and mark resources helpful, and submit their own.

How it differs from other areas #

  • The Community Forum is for asking about your specific problem.
  • This Help Center explains how PKOUG itself works.

Public and Members resources #

VisibilityWho can read it
PublicEveryone, including visitors who are not signed in and search engines
MembersPKOUG members who are signed in and whose membership is current (the free Community plan is always current). These resources carry a Members label

Members resources appear in the hub, search, filters, related resources, bookmarks and your feed only for members who can read them. Their files download only for those members, and they are never included in the sitemap or offered to search engines. Visitors, and members whose paid membership has lapsed, see only Public resources; a link to a Members resource answers not found for them.

Visibility is separate from review: only published resources can be read at all.
