Principles you can see in the product #
- Minimum publication: nothing from your profile is published unless you choose it; registered email, private phone, postal address and CNIC are never published.
- Separate consent: event marketing, testimonials and forum photographs each need their own explicit choice, off by default.
- Event registrations and your account: a registration is linked to your member account only when you register while signed in with your account email address, or when an events administrator links it after checking it is yours. Registrations are never matched to accounts by email address automatically.
- Private uploads: payment proofs, ACE guidance attachments, partner logos (until approved with permission) and similar files are stored privately and readable only by administrators.
- No password visibility: passwords are stored in a form that cannot be turned back into the password, so nobody at PKOUG can read yours.
- The forum sees less: the Community Forum receives only the display details you chose to publish, never your contact, billing or private profile data.
- Consent history is kept: withdrawing consent stops use of that information and is recorded rather than silently undone.
Ask for a change #
Email info@pkoug.org to correct your details, change your registered email address, remove an event registration or ask about information PKOUG holds about you. Use the address registered to your account so the team can verify the request.
