Find an article #
- Search from the Help Center home, a topic page or the results page. Press
/to jump to the search box. Search looks at titles, summaries, article text, keywords and common alternative wording, so "rank points" finds the article about ranks. - Suggestions appear under the search box as you type. Use the up and down arrow keys to choose one and Enter to open it, or press Enter without choosing to see every result. Suggestions only ever list articles you can open.
- How can we help? on the home page lists common tasks — joining, asking a question, editing your profile, registering for an event — so you can start from what you want to do.
- Guides for you points new visitors, members, forum users and signed-in leaders and moderators to the topics written for them.
- Browse by topic opens a topic page with a Start here article, every article in the topic and related topics.
- Filter to PKOUG Platform or PKOUG Forum when you only want instructions for one site. Guides marked PKOUG & Forum apply to both and are always included.
Read an article #
- The badges under the title show the topic, where the instructions apply and, for articles not written for everyone, who they are for.
- Longer articles have an On this page list. On a wide screen it stays in view and marks the section you are reading; on a phone it is collapsed above the article. Every heading has a link (#) you can copy to point someone straight at that section.
- Numbered steps, notes, tips, warnings and important callouts are labelled in words as well as colour.
- Related articles, Previous/Next and the links at the end help you continue through a topic.

Many PKOUG, My PKOUG, forum and admin pages show a Help with this page panel linking to the most relevant articles.
