Discover and Register for PKOUG Events

A guide to finding upcoming and past PKOUG sessions, reading event details, registering safely, and getting more value from every meetup or webinar.

Technology community members discovering, registering for, and attending a professional event

PKOUG events turn online profiles and shared interests into real learning and professional connection. The events feature gives every published session a dependable place for its schedule, venue, speaker, description, and registration route.

Start with the events listing

Open PKOUG Events to see upcoming activities and a separate history of past sessions. Keeping upcoming and past events distinct makes it easier to decide what you can join now and what the community has already delivered.

Event cards can also identify the chapter responsible for a session. This helps you follow both national activity and work happening through a local city community.

Read the event page before registering

The event detail page is the authoritative public summary for that session. Review the date and time, location or meeting information, speaker details, event status, and full description. If a session is cancelled or already in the past, the page communicates that state instead of presenting an inappropriate registration action.

How registration works

  1. Choose an upcoming event from the events listing.
  2. Read the full event page and confirm that its topic, time, and location work for you.
  3. Select the registration action. Some events use PKOUG’s own registration form; others may point to a clearly identified external registration destination.
  4. Provide accurate attendee details and review any optional communication choice separately.
  5. Submit once and keep the confirmation for your records.

What PKOUG does with event details

Event registration exists to manage attendance and communicate about the specific session. Optional ongoing communication is separate from registering for one event. This keeps consent understandable and lets you participate without turning an event form into an unrelated subscription.

Get more value from a session

  • Read the description and prepare one or two focused questions.
  • Arrive or join early enough to complete check-in.
  • Introduce yourself to people working in a similar area.
  • Take notes on actions you can apply after the session.
  • Follow the relevant chapter or special interest group for related activity.

Past events still tell a story

The past-events section is useful even when registration has closed. It shows the topics, speakers, formats, and chapter activity the community has supported. Organisers and prospective contributors can use that history to avoid repetition and identify useful follow-up themes.

Browse upcoming PKOUG events and choose the next conversation you want to join.
