Open Categories (forum.pkoug.org/categories).
Two levels #
- Technology areas — for example Oracle Database & Data Management, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AI & Machine Learning, APEX & Low-Code, Middleware & Integration, E-Business Suite, Fusion Cloud Applications, Analytics, Security & Identity, Java & MySQL, operating systems and engineered systems, enterprise and industry applications, and Learning, Careers & Community.
- Products inside each area, such as Data Guard or GoldenGate under Database.
The directory shows real topic counts and the most active products; the remaining products are one click away under each area. The filter box finds areas and products by name.
Choosing a category #
- Pick the product when one fits; use the area's general option only when the question spans products.
- Old category addresses redirect to the current one, so shared links keep working.
The same technology and product list is used by the Knowledge Hub and by My PKOUG → Following.
Members-only categories #
A category may be limited to current PKOUG members. It does not appear to visitors or in their search results.
