Your dashboard shows your membership state. PKOUG keeps several facts separately — application approval, account access and whether a paid membership is current — and combines them into one state.
| State | Meaning | Can sign in? | Member benefits such as the directory? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pending | Application not yet approved | No | No |
| Unverified | Email address not yet verified | No | No |
| Unclaimed | Approved, but no password set yet | Not until you set a password | — |
| Active | Approved and current (free plans are always current) | Yes | Yes |
| Grace | Paid membership expired within the last 30 days | Yes | No |
| Lapsed | Paid membership expired more than 30 days ago | Yes | No |
| Suspended, locked or disabled | Account access restricted by an administrator | No | No |
| Rejected | Application declined | No | No |
What still works when lapsed #
Your own account never depends on paying: signing in, your profile, security settings, withdrawing a testimonial, stepping down from a chapter role and reading your proposals remain available. Creating new proposals and browsing the member directory need a current membership.
Renewing #
Renewals are processed by the PKOUG team. Contact payments@pkoug.org or info@pkoug.org with your registered email address.
