PKOUG runs two connected sites:
- pkoug.org — membership, your profile, My PKOUG, the Knowledge Hub, events, chapters, SIGs, sponsors and partners.
- forum.pkoug.org — the Community Forum for questions, answers and discussions, community profiles, leaderboards and the Contribution Program.
One member account #
You never create a separate forum account. Your PKOUG member account is the only identity. When you choose Sign in on the forum, you sign in on pkoug.org and are passed back to the forum through a short-lived, single-use signed handoff. The first time you do this, your community profile is created from your member account.
The forum receives only what it needs to show your community profile — your display name and the profile details you chose to publish. It does not receive your password, payment records or private contact details.
Separate sessions #
Each site keeps its own session, so you can be signed in to one and not the other. The forum's account menu offers three sign-out choices; see Sessions, devices and signing out.
